  • A SUPERB turnout of teams from the SAYFC's West Region enjoyed a night full of fun and games at the recent Big Night Out at Forth Leisure Centre.

  • AN EXCELLENT turnout of 11 teams were forward for the West Region's mixed hockey tournament at Cambusdoon Sports Ground.

  • PETER MATHESON purchased a vintage Massey Fergusson, named it ' Annie' and has now taken on the challenge of driving it from John O Groats to Lands End down to Dover, then across to Scandinavia up to Nordkapp to witness the Aurora Borealis.

  • AN ACTION packed schedule kept everyone busy at the Scottish Association of Young Farmers' Clubs' centre during the Royal Highland Show, where the display of handicrafts boxes, photography entries, farm signs and new merchandise ensured the crowds kept rolling in.

  • AS THE crowds made their way from the tug of war finals in the cattle rings to the Young Farmers centre, last Saturday, to wait for the prize giving of competitions held over the weekend, the tension grew to see who would be winning this year's coveted Stockman of the Year title.
