A UNIQUE silver Massey Ferguson 135 is set to be sold at the next big Cheffins vintage auction on April 24.
The tractor is from County Fermanagh tractor enthusiast Cyril Hunter, and tractor restorer David Graham, who were inspired by a Universal Hobbies’ limited edition model released to commemorate Massey Ferguson’s 50th anniversary in 2008. “We wanted to do something completely different,” said Cyril. “I had the silver model MF 135 and thought it would be quite fun to convert a real one into a silver edition. I knew the transformation would be quite a challenge, but I also knew David Graham would be the man to carry it out,” added Cyril. Bound for Cheffins’ machinery sale, at Cambridge, the 1970 MF 135 is sure to attract an international squad of collectors and buyers
