ABERFELDY AND District Junior Agricultural Club have been named as the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs’ National Club of the Year.
Callander boys had plenty to celebrate at the Highland Show, after winning the men’s tug of war final in front of a packed out crowd around the cattle rings.
History was made in the SAYFC Stockman of the Year contest at the Highland, when it was won – for the first time ever – by a female!
Ross, Nairn and Inverness (RNI) district of Young Farmers hosted the 2010 Highland Rally, which attracted approximately 100 participants last weekend.
Mauchline YFC member James Nisbet, from Sorn Mains, Sorn, collected the overall championship at the Ayrshire Young Farmers’ County Rally.
A strong turn-out for the senior West region YF stockjudging contest at Ayr, was led by a team from Stirling, Strathendrick and Strathkelvin YFC.
