A packed Perth Town Hall witnessed Bell Baxter’s team take the lead at last weekend’s East Region YF Cabaret contest.

Their production, ‘City girls on tour’, was produced by David Scott and Katie Thomson and notched up 92 points to secure them first place, in front of Bathgate JAC, who got 90 2/3 points for their performance of ‘Alive and kicking’, produced by Hazel Ireland.

Finishing third, on 89 2/3 points, was the Kinross team’s production of ‘Oh! What a circus’, produced by Alistair Morton.

Best individual was Alexander Marshall, of Aberfeldy and Bankfoot JAC.
