ALL three regions of SAYFC were represented at the National clay pigeon shoot held at Rothiemurchus Shooting Ground, near Aviemore, last weekend.
The day started off with a 50-bird competition and from this the top six teams - Avondale YFC, Inverurie JAC A, Orkney District, and three teams from Kinross JAC - went through to a 50-bird flush final.
Ruling supreme with 144 points was the Avondale YFC team of Kevin Craig, Gordon Craig and Andrew Hamilton, with Andrew also winning the 'top gun' prize for the best individual score of 43 points.
Only one point split the second and third teams but coming in second with 130 were Aaron Wallace, Aiden Wallace and Lewis Greenhowe from Inverurie JAC A, while Kinross JAC's team three, with Angus Nelson, Kris Johnston and Craig Nelson, finished third with 129 points.
With the top gun title heading to Andrew, top girl with 32 points was Clova Rennie, of East Fife JAC.
