A MEMORABLE week was had by nearly 200 people from 19 different countries who attended the International Farm Youth Exchange conference based at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, during the summer.
The organising team had been working on the programme for the past three years, and came up with varied, interesting and fun activities - including visits to whisky distilleries, Speyside Cooperage, Findhorn Foundation, Glenlivet Mountain biking and hiking, Cawdor Castle, Pluscarden Abbey and RAF Lossiemouth.
Several farms were also on the visit list, as well as a host family day, and the best of Scottish hospitality was offered, showcasing many local foods and drink as well as fine Scottish music from pipe bands, solo pipers, fiddlers to ceilidh bands.
