THERE was a striking performance from all 18 teams at the recent East Region 10-pin bowling contest held at Bowlplex, Dunfermline.
Knocking their way into first place with 998 points was the team from Brechin YFC, made up of club members Callum Lawrie, Luke Yarr, Robin Norrie, Stewart Lawrie, Rachel Hill and Robin Baillie.
It was a battle of the two Kinross teams for second and third, with the ‘B’ team coming in second with a score of 973 thanks to members David Lawrie, Hanna Cheape, Emma Paterson, Ian Cullens, Jamie McLaren and Kirsty Kinloch.
There was further success for Jamie when he was crowned ‘King Pin’ with his score of 292.
Christina Erskine, Lewis McLaren, Andrew Stevenson, Emma Sloan, Emma Cheape and Craig Bell, from Kinross ‘A’, finished in third with 926 points on the board.
