ANDREW McGregor has won the coveted Member of the Year title for the coming year at SAYFC's National competitions weekend in Perth.
Following a series of interviews during the day the winners were announced at the evening dance and with a large contingent of ‘Westies’ present, Carluke YFC member Andrew was a popular winner.
The 23-year-old who works on the family dairy farm at East Law, Carluke, is currently chairman of the club and has particularly enjoyed producing Talent Spot performances as well as charity concerts in recent years.
Securing second place was East Lothian YFC member, Craig Simpson, a masters student with SRUC while in third was Lower Nithsdale YFC’s Lucy McClymont.
