Ayr and Biggar lead the West
LESMAHAGOW Show was the venue for the West Region tug-of-war eliminations, with clubs that have gone on to win the National final at the Highland securing the top places in each of the gents’ and ladies’ competitions.
Taking the top spot for the girls was Ayr YFC, which was victorious in the final against Carluke YFC. They will be joined by third place Biggar YFC and fourth place Avondale YFC at Ingliston.
Leading the boys section was the Biggar YFC team, with Carluke YFC in second, Ayr YFC in third and Callander YFC in fourth.
