IT was a successful outing to the East Region’s 10-pin bowling competition for Kinross JAC, when two teams secured the first and second places as well as the King Pin and Queen Pin titles for the best individual scores.
Held at Bowlplex, Dunfermline, setting the best score of the 23 teams was the Kinross ‘B’ team of Gregor Smith, Emma Cheape, Gayle Paterson, Daniel Black, Andy Stevenson and David Black, with Emma going on to stand Queen Pin.
In second place was the ‘A’ team of Lewis McLaren, Patrick Macdonald, Christine Macdonald, Emma Sloan, Ian Cullens and Jamie McLaren. There was more to celebrate for Ian when he was crowned King Pin with the best score of the day.
Finishing in third was Strathmore JAC’s Robert Constable, Duncan Shaw, Daniel Fyffe, Anne Dunbar and Catriona Ross.
