'It's Frank for your boss - something about the price of milk!'
Maybe divine intervention can help Europe's beleaguered dairy farmers – at least that's the hope of the European Milk Board, which represents 100,000 milk producers.
The board took 140 of its members to the Vatican to pray for such help via the Pope. Farmers from France to Lithuania travelled to His Holiness seeking blessings for themselves, their families and the state of the dairy industry.
Apparently they got it, too, with Pope Francis speaking to the dairy farmers from the heart. Makes a change from tipping milk in the streets or burning tyres and other images.
Given that the Almighty doesn't seem to have much on his plate these days, the milk job could be sorted out quite soon!
