SIR —, Well done Michael MacNally (TSF, June 17) for highlighting the fact that the RSPB has never acknowledged publicly that our ground-nesting waders fare better when their environment is being managed for game shooting.
But what about the rest, whose PC and barely disguised bias agendas do them no credit, ie, the Scottish Government, local authorities, various charities and trusts, rewilding groups, the BBC, etc.
Any chance that some of them might step forward and publicly declare that game shooting and stalking are good, both for the environment and the economy?
I thought not.
Mike Luti,
Charchfields,
Callander.
