Sir,

Does it surprise anyone that the British government forgot the needs of Scotland when trying to get a trade deal?

Listening to Question Time, opposition MPs voiced their concerns at the way the Tory Party are governing the country. They talk about Brexit, they tell us the wondrous deals that they hope to trade with so many countries, only to find that doors are slammed in their faces due to incompetence, then the blame game starts, squabbling.

At the election, they blamed the SNP for what they are now doing themselves – they wanted independence from Europe. They lied, got what a few wanted, but now they don’t know what or where they are going as the game was not based on truth!

We Christians are familiar with the Bible story. The writing on the wall, where a hand appeared and wrote a message for the king on the wall, telling of his demise!

Well the same happened at the Tory conference! The letter F fell off the board and the May-Queen lost her voice.

We food growers can do nothing but wait for what future beholds us. The way things are looking we have two choices – keep going at a loss or give up and feed ourselves so that Scotland can be turned into a Safari Park!!

Or see sense before it is to late, before we all go down the swannie, the rudderless ship is heading for the rocks, never mind your new found allegiance to liars and cheats, support the Scottish Government for a better Scotland.

When the big foreign banks leave the City of London, and you get a letter telling you 'sorry we have no money to pay your pensions'. For our generation, we are on our way out.
