SIR, –
Thank you Mr MacDonald, of Benbecula, for researching the ‘scammers’ of the Lynx Trust.
One wonders if they have such low self esteem that they have to try boosting themselves by conjuring up such hare-brained schemes. And now we see they are may be backed by insurance from Lloyds of London.
If lynx hold no danger to livestock, why is insurance necessary? Will the money cover the trauma to farmers of discovering their mauled and slaughtered animals and, knowing bureaucracy (so prevalent in this country) what hoops will victim farmers have to jump through to claim their compensation.
Considering that such a huge population of the world is in crisis with starvation prevalent in so many areas, not least, the necessity for food banks in this country, why, oh why do these narcissistic people get so much credence, especially when farmers are struggling to make a living producing food for us all to eat, yet have to be subsidised to do so – has intelligence and common sense really become obsolete?
Such people as the Lynx Trust, Wilding Britain etc, should try getting a proper job and contribute some humanity to the world.
