I've been following the current "wilding" policy, the powers that be want to turn back the clock, but how far?
Our ancestors whom we inherited the land had cleared forests, drained bogs, and eradicated dangerous predictors. Green policy wants to reverse this. Have we gone full (fool) circle?
Here is an example of what the beaver on my farm in Manitoba. I can remember back when the talks about reintroducing to Britain were going on, the rewilders said "But they only eat saplings" – this photo was taken within yards of our house, and they can cut down bigger ones than this, there is a beaver dam in Saskatchewan which can be seen from the Space station.
