ACCORDING to recent research, some green foliage in the office environment is not only good for you – it can also boost productivity.
The study, carried out by Exeter University boffins, found that even a few plants in an office setting boosted productivity and allowed workers to control their environment.
Now, I am sure there is a diversification opportunity here for someone.
For example, surely only a few million quid of ScotGov’s £178m computer debacle cost could have been diverted to a local grower to provide a regular supply of greenery to Holyrood’s IT department.
However, it almost certainly wouldn’t have qualified for a Basic Farm Payment as it would undoubtedly have been classed as ‘coupling support with production’.
