LANARKSHIRE Texel breeder Andrew (Pandy) Clark, from North Garngour, Lesmahagow, is having his leg pulled by some of his so-called friends following a little incident with his flock’s preparations for tupping time.
It seems that in the hurly burly of pre-tupping work, it just so happened – and it might have been as the light was failing! – that a progesterone sponge also found its way into the nether (but totally useless) regions of the teaser tup which had been running with the ewes to get them ‘excited’.
What effect this had on the tup, we can only imagine. But we cannot help but think that having a sponge rammed up your jacksie only added insult to injury at having been vasectomised!
