IT'S BEEN quite a week for Aberdeenshire's Blair Duffton when he won not only the 'local' big primestock show at Thainstone, but also triumphed at the Welsh Winter Fair, in Builth Wells.
But, it was all, literally, a 'dream come true' for Blair, who owned both animals jointly with Rebecca Stuart, because he had a dream the night before both events that he would win a major title. However, the dream weaver didn't see him winning two!
But there must have been some point on Tuesday when Blair and Rebecca wished they could have been in two places at once. Though, looking at the obligatory facebook pages, it looked as if all the Scots in Wales – and there were quite a few seasoned party goers there – were drinking Aberdeenshire's share as well!
Still, at least Blair didn't have to buy a round!
