AN AFTERNOON fundraising tea with a difference was held by Maggie Mills, of Dunmaglass Estate, last Saturday, in Farr Hall, near Inverness.

All proceeds from the tasty tea was destined for the STV Children’s Appeal and many good quality ladies' clothes were donated and sold. There was also a raffle, music and an impromptu fashion show.

Three models graced the stage wearing some of the donations. During their last outing on the catwalk, an extra special 'model' appeared in the name of Jimmy Mills (Maggie’s husband) wearing a specially selected outfit with matching lingerie, topped of by a hat and wig.

Always game for a laugh, Jimmy raised an extra £190 for the appeal as it was a bit of a dare with the helpers on the day! A total of £2206 was raised to help underprivileged children in the area.

Well done to Maggie and of course Jimmy – photos are available, but apparently a look at them would 'spean a foal.'
