SIR, – Reading Gordon Davidson's article Crofting Commission's grazing apology must surely leave crofters everywhere in wonder.
I, myself, as the first voted in commissioner to resign, am not surprised at anything in the article – not even that no verdict of right or wrong was give or taken as it surely should have been and begs the question, is Fergus Ewing another not fit for the job.
Forcing, or asking, Colin Kennedy to resign if he is not wrong, as lately appears to maybe be the case, begs the question: Just what is going on? Is it nothing other than an easy option to get rid of him out of the way.
Colin Kennedy is a strong forceful character – too forceful and commanding to be a commissioner. Him and I fell out! His honesty and dedication in what he believes would be absolute, and without doubt is usually right.
