It's not often that you find poultry fetching a higher price than Texel sheep, but that is exactly what happened at the spring Dingwall and Highland Mart rare and minority breeds poultry sale recently. A trio of Cuckoo Scots Dumpy bantams went for a record price of £320 after several bidders fought to win the birds.
