RECENT GROWTH in the hydro business has led Strathardle-based Glen Hydro to open a new office in Blairgowrie and expand its workforce.
The company, which reported a very high demand for its specialist services, is now looking for a full time consulting hydro engineer and an office administrator to work from Blairgowrie.
Glen Hydro director, Luke Milner said: "We have seen a significant increase in the demand for our expertise in hydro schemes.
"As well as expanding our consultancy business we now have the funding to be able to invest directly in hydro developments and are actively looking for sites all over Scotland.
"The Blairgowrie office means we now have the extra space needed for more staff and for us to grow as a company. This is an important development for us."
Glen Hydro specialise in the design, development and project management of hydroelectric schemes throughout Scotland, offering both a consultancy/project management service to landowners, and also the option of funding for the development of hydroelectric schemes.
