THE North of Fife Foal Show's move this year to the Black family's Nisbetfield Farm near Letham in Fife, proved highly successful with exhibitors and spectators alike who were delighted with the new choice of venue, and none would be happier than the Blacks themselves who took the show's supreme championship with filly foal, Collessie Jennifer.

By Redcastle Brelee Majestic and out Ormiston Mains Amber, Jennifer had stood champion at the Lanark, Biggar and Peebles Foal Show and was reserve at Kilmarnock.

David Greenhill of Leuchars Lodge, Leuchars, took the top honours in the senior horse classes before standing reserve supreme. His two-year-old filly, Fordelhill Ruby is by Collessie Whinhill President, out of Fordelhill Lady Margaret.

Reserve senior was Sandy Aitken's Newton Glens Kara while reserve foal champion was the home-bred West Forth Molly Malone from Peter Tennant.

Leading the colt classes was Charlotte Young, who led the senior colt foal class with Doura Top-Spec and the junior colt class with an unnamed Doura King Maker son.
