THE Lairds also triumphed at the All Britain awards, presented later that night, winning several of the lead titles to include champion five-year-old in milk.

The team from Blythbridge, Peebles, led this section with Blythbridge Blackjack Jackie an Ex94-classified cow that was SuperCow at AgriScot and champion at the Northern Dairy Expo at Carlisle, last year. She was also first in her class at the Highland and UK Dairy Day.

Adding to the celebrations, the Lairds collected an honourable mention in this section with Blythbridge Goldwyn Rosalee, which stood reserve to her herd mate at AgriScot and honourable mention at the Highland.

And, their grand champion from the Borderway UK Dairy Expo, Illens Atwood Australia was honourable mention in the four-year-old in milk section.

Other Scottish winners included Brian and Michael Yates' Logan Goldsun Belle 2, which won the intermediate two-year-old in milk honours for the Logan herd from Castle Douglas. She was heifer champion at AgriScot.

Not to be outdone, Jack and David Brewster, Boclair, Glasgow, came up trumps to lead the senior two-year-old in milk with Boclair Sid Hope which was junior dairy champion at the Highland and first at last year's Dairy Expo.
