IT'S a show that can sometimes fall foul of the weather, but that wasn't the case last weekend, as Fenwick show took place in almost completely dry conditions.
The cattle section didn't see the highest number of entries, but the quality certainly didn't suffer, and it was the Simmental cow, Kennox Taras Diva, from David Craig at Kennox that was eventually tapped out as overall cattle champion, having taken several championship wins in her day.
Reserve to her overall was the prime cattle winner, Blackie, the bull calf from young Taylor Holloway, Cranlaw.
Over in the sheep it was the winner from the Texel championship that took the overall, with John Paterson of Oxenshaw leading the way with his gimmer.
Reserve to her was the Blackie from Stuart Heads, with the ewe class winner leading the way here.
In the Clydesdale section it was a well known show winner taking the red, white and blue, with Willie Drummond's Broadyards My Fair Lady taking yet another championship win.
