A CRACKING show of sheep – believed to be the best yet – was forward for the Lairg Hill Cheviot Show, staged at United Auctions, Lairg Market, where a five-crop ewe was crowned overall champion by the the judge, Allan Hutcheon, Hartside Hill.
His choice of champion, a ewe by Badanloch Bullseye, was shown by owners Tina and Lesley Robertson, Inkstack.
The reserve was the three-shear ram, Achentoul Rooter, from Suisgill Estate, which was bought last year at Lairg.
