GRAMPIAN Foal Show relocated to a a new venue for its show this year to Fountain Equestrian Centre near Dyce.

It was a familiar face, however, that came to the top of the standings. After many near misses, Eric and Miranda's Ord Tinkerbelle, from Muir of Ord, took championship honours.

A May-born junior filly foal, Tinkerbelle had amassed five junior filly foal red tickets in the current round of shows, before going to the top last Saturday.

Tinkerbelle is by this year's reserve Cawdor Cup winner, Eskechraggan Ernest and out of the well-known show winning mare, Ord Envy.

Judge, Alistair Ferguson, pulled out as his reserve another May-born foal, this time the colt, Anguston Mike, from Norman Christie, Roadside, Fintray.

By Bratlach Millichen, out of Anguston Molly, he had been a second prize winner at the recent Forfar Foal Show.
