SHEEP from the Clark family reigned supreme in the Scottish Texel Sheep Breeders' Club Flock competition, winning several of the top awards including the supreme flock.

The family of Helen Clark and sons, Alan, Andrew and David, first won the medium flock competition and the overall, with their Teiglum flock. Adding to the celebrations, their Garngour flock from North Garngour, Lesmahagow, picked up the award for the best ewe lambs, with Teiglum taking the runner up trophy in this section.

Judge, Alistair Gault of the Forkins flock, from Northern Ireland, found his reserve overall flock in Peter and Lyn Gray's Scrogtonhead unit from Galston, which first won the large flock section.

Best stock ram was Archie and John MacGregor's Allanfauld Warlord, from Allanfauld, Kilsyth.
