While somewhat damp conditions prevailed for the first day of the Great Yorkshire, the dairy inter-breed the following day saw the supreme overall, Newbirks Jazz the lead Holstein, take all in glorious sunshine.
Winning a second consecutive breed championship here for Robert and Elaine's Ingleview herd from Bentham, was the Ex93-classified Newbirks Jazz, which was following on from her successful show at the Highland where she also secured the supreme dairy.
