Seven clubs competed in Lanarkshire Holstein Club Herds competition, judged by Duncan Horsley, Woodhouse, who spent two long days travelling round the various herds to find his top winners.
Herds competing included the Laird's Blyth herd; Messrs Baillie, Hillhead of Covington; Messrs Brewster, Wester Borland; the Brysons, Dykehead; Messrs Lawrie, Grangehall; Messrs Neilson, East Brackenridge; and the Weatherups, Parkend.
