THE Yates family's Logan herd dominated the this year's South West Holstein Club's herds competition winning not only four of the lead awards but also the supreme for overall production and inspection.
The Castle Douglas-based team of Brian and Sheila and son Michael, led the eight herds that took part in the competition, judged over two days by George Boreland senior, Mossbog, Mauchline.
