WET, dreich weather failed to deter attendance figures or entry numbers as West Ardnamurchan Show enjoyed a record turnout of both to witness a battle between two sisters for the overall champion of champions.
Going head to head was a three-shear Blackface ram from Rosmary MacLachlan Curtis and a home-bred Cheviot ewe lamb that won the cross-bred second from Nan MacLachlan, with the judge, Robbie MacDougall, from Tobermory, eventually tapping out the ewe lamb as his choice of supreme.
