The show, held in Stirling last Saturday, was judged by George Wight of Banchory, who said his choice of champion "had great conformation and is perfect in her movement". This home-bred four-year-old mare is by Heatherwick Perfection and out of Ord Jubilee Girl.
Also judged as part of the Winter Fair were Highland pony and Shetland classes.
Standing to the fore in the Highland pony section was the three-year-old gelding, Fingal of Mendick, from 18-year-old Lauren Fraser of 10 Ocerton Crescent, East Caulder, Livingston. This Dougal of Mendick son is out of Megan of Craigiecat and was bought just three weeks ago by Lauren.
Topping the standard Sheltand ponies, as judged by Mrs Pleass of Cotter House, Devonshaw, Powmill, Dollar, was the bay mare, Stow Lexus, from Janet Murray's Mawcarse stud, 17 Green Park, Kinross. This three-year-old by Stow Vulcan is out of Lignite Prima is in foal to Wells Invincible for next year.
Heading up the miniature section was the two-year-old chestnut colt, Myreston Dougal, from Jimmy and Graham Wilson, Leys, Muchart, Dollar. Dougal is by Myreston Talisman and out of Northwells Golden Dando.
