BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Location: East Lothian (hybrid)

We’re a leading developer of biogas plants, supporting sustainable farming businesses on their route to net zero. We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead our commercial and marketing activities in Scotland and Northern England. This role is remote but will require occasional attendance at our offices in East Lothian.

Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities for new on-farm biogas projects • Engage with key stakeholders (farmers, estate managers, land agents, etc) • Qualify agricultural sites suitable for biogas plant development • Establish a development pipeline of potential AD projects across Scotland and Northern England • Develop and maintain an extensive network of prospective clients across Scotland and Northern England

Our ideal candidate:
• Background in business development, ideally within the farming industry • Excellent networker/influencer • Experience within agriculture, eg working with estate/land managers, farming equipment, agri-tech
