News Journalist
I have been employed at The Scottish Farmer since the start of June 2013. I am an online and print journalist and I am currently involved in various aspects of the paper, whether that means dealing with business, news, arable or lifestyle, as and when needed.
This can mean carrying out an assortment of duties such as writing features, attending different markets, and writing sale reports. In the summer months I also attend and report on weekly agricultural shows, which see me travelling around Scotland.
Although new to The Scottish Farmer I have been employed in the agricultural sector since leaving university in 2009 and I very much enjoy being part of the industry.
Brought up on a farm, I enjoy going home at the weekends and during holidays to help out, and to lend a hand showing Galloway cattle at local shows.
