A NORTH Country Cheviot gimmer raised £1500 for charity when she went under the hammer at Harrison and Hetherington's Lockerbie centre, last week. The hill gimmer, consigned from the Allen family's Stouphill flock near Alnwick, was knocked down for £1300 to Brian Cocker, Knowehead of Auld Allan, Kirriemuir, with the Allens donating a further £200 to take the total raised for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation to £1500.
