Bulls averaged £2625 for 22 with females at £2170 for eight at a Limousin Cattle Society show and sale at Dungannon Auction Mart.

Top price was 3500gns paid for Richard Mowbray's Droit Minty from Newtownstewart, Co Tyrone. A November 2016-born ET, Minty is bred from the Larkhill Firmount daughter, Haltcliffe Harriot and sired by Ampertaine Gigolo. He was knocked down to RM Sterritt, Newry, Co Down.

Judge Leanne Workman, Larne, presented the overall championship to the intermediate and male champion, Derriaghy Noddy, from DG Green and Sons, Lisburn, Co Antrim. This April 2017-born son of Norman Ely, out of the dam Derriaghy Hermonie made 3200gns selling to Oliver Cairns, Ballygawley, Co Tyrone. Noddy was also reserve male champion at Balmoral Show earlier in the year.

The reserve female champion, Hillviewfarm Nicky sold for the second top price of 3300gns. Consigned by Adrian Richardson, Maguiresbridge, Co Fermanagh, this 15-month-old heifer is by the AI sire Ronick Hawk, out of Newtown Harmony and was purchased by James McGarrigle, Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh.

Next best at 2500gns was another from DG Green and Sons in the shape of Derriaghy Otopia, a 10-month-old heifer by Ampertaine Gigolo, purchased by Samuel Murphy, Waringstown, Co Armagh. She is out of Derriaghy Hitopia, a Wilodge Tonka daughter.
