Texel gimmers from Kenny Pratt's Hilltop flock from Peterculter, Aberdeenshire, proved the star attraction at the Scottish Club Show at Lanark, producing the top two prices.

Another Hilltop gimmer by the same sire and in lamb with twins to Alabama, made 520gns to Stuart Webster, Mill of Ardoch, Braco. She was bred from a Cambwell Rob Roy daughter.

Two gimmers sold for 500gns including the best from Cammy Gauld's Cairnam flock from Auchterarder. His Clinterty Yosemite Sam-sired gimmer, sold carrying a single to Hexel Blockbuster, to S and JE Andrew, Letter, Dunkeld.

Matching that price was a Clantibuies Vital Statistics-sired in-lamb gimmer from John Adamson, Swaites, Pettinain, purchased by N and F McNaughton, Duallin, Lawers, Aberfeldy.
