A good entry of cross-bred and more grass-based animals were forward and sold to £1520 for Shorthorn heifers from N Hitchen of Luddenenfoot, Halifax.

In-calf heifers peaked at £1360 from RN Morris of Baddington, Nantwich, with maiden heifers to £750 and yearlings to £600.
