ON Orkney the young farmers' over wintering competition saw the championship go to a Limousin heifer from Scott Drever
Bred by WSL Muir, Upper Onston, Stenness, it sold for £3200 to Harry Emslie, Kinnochie, Mintlaw.
The reserve champion was a Limousin heifer from Lee Rendall. Again bred by Mr Muir, this one made £1800 to E Flett Butchers, Stromness.
Champion steer a Limousin from Jessica Rendall which went on to sell for £1600 to Williamsons, Kirkwall.
Champion home-bred was a Limousin from Frazer Leslie, Odinstone, Shapinsay. It sold for £1350 to the judge, Harry Brown, Auchmallidie Mains, Maud.
