An impressive turnout of more than 3000 attendees visited the Grampian Transport Museum for the Alford Autojumble and classic vehicle auction.

Now in its second year, the classic auction facilitated by Thainstone Specialist Auctions saw 25 classic and vintage vehicles entered, comprising of cars, motorcycles and tractors. A nicely restored Morris Mini 850 pick-up truck achieved the top selling price on the day of £13,200.

Other top prices included a classic John Cooper Edition Mini Cooper achieving £3100, two tractors – a Fordson Dexta and a grey Massey Ferguson – selling for £2900 and £2100 respectively, and a 1956 Triumph Thunderbird motorcycle which realised £2050.
