A second calved cow from the Aireburn herd secured another championship and top price at Skipton Auction Mart's monthly dairy show and sale.
The herd, owned by Brian and Judith Moorhouse from Hesper Farm, Bell Busk, was producing their fourth championship of the year, this time with Aireburn MVP Scilla, a daughter of Seagull-Bay MVP which made £1650 to Ken Throup, of Woofa Bank, Silsden.
Standing reserve was a newly calved heifer from Richard Close, of Calf Hall Farm, Starbotton. The home-bred Friesian type entry was paraded a week calved and giving 25 litres. She made £1600 to John Howard of Heslaker.
The second and third prize heifers both came from Mark Smith, of High Rails, Ripley. His third prize winner made £1420 to David Shuttleworth in Gargrave.
The second prize cow from Calderdale’s Jon Midgley, of Ludendenfoot, made £1380 to Tom Gouldin.
The sale of 60 rearing calves was topped at £480 for a two-month-old Limousin bull calf from James Cooper, of Dacre.
