A Romany cow bred by Robert and Ron Wilson, Kelso, topped Peter and Jane Lewis' dispersal of the Cerrig
herd from Corwen, selling for 3300gns.
Romany 1 Dawn H12 M55, a rising five-year-old cow by Romany 1 Heavyduty, out of a Romany cow sold in calf to Netherhall 1 Oz Daffy, to pedigree breeder, M Whieldon, Gnosall, Staffordshire to join the Clares herd.
Next at 2200gns was the six-year-old cow Fisher 1 Cheerful J364 purchased by J Hodge, of Fellowhills Herefords, Hondean, Northumberland. By semen from the Australian-bred Yalgoo Boulder Z250, Cheerful is out of Fisher 1 Cheerful P18 and sold in calf to Goulidingpoll 1 Goldspice.
