Graham and Fiona Burke's show winning gimmer continued on her winning ways at the Beltex Society's show and sale at Carlisle, to secure the lead price amongst the females at 5000gns.

The gimmer, Pentland Dixie ET from the couple's small Pentland flock from Edzell, Brechin, is by Airyolland Wurzell, out of the Kingledores Rascal daughter, Pentland What a Star, and sold to Vicky Bowring buying for her Windmill flock from Nottingham.

No stranger to the show ring, this cracker boasts a kist full of championship tickets to include the Scottish National at Kelso, Fettercairn, Echt and Perth. She was also second in her class at the Royal Highland.

Dixie’s full sister, Pentland Drambuie ET, realised 2500gns to Daniel Hodge buying for his Hodge’s flock from Cumnock, Ayrshire.

Ms Bowring was back buying the second top priced female at 4000gns from Jock McMillan’s Newton Stewart-based Clary flock. Clary Drama ET is a full sister to his Highland Show winner being a daughter of Hackney Braveheart out of Clary Bella.

Graeme Sinclair's Sinclair's flock from Carnavel, Carsphairn, enjoyed a cracking show, taking the female championship and reserve overall honours with Sinclair's Diva ET, a Kingledores Battleaxe daughter, bred from Broughton Bryony. She made 3000gns selling to MJ Ludgate, Thame, Oxon.

Her full sister, Sinclair's Daisy ET, made the same money selling to Alan Miller buying for his Lurg flock from Midmar, Inverurie.
