A show and sale of Mule gimmers at Lawrie and Symington's Forfar Mart, saw the top awards presented to sheep from Mains of Creuchies and Over Finlarg.

The event, staged as part of a sale of 1567 breeding and store sheep, saw the judge Richard Wilson, Wairds of Alpity, present the lead rosette amongst the Scotch Mules to a pen of 20 from R Simpson and Son, Mains of Creuchies, while R McNee, Over Finlarg, topped the pens of Cheviot Mules.

Duncan Beaton, Newmill of Inshewan, judged the Suffolk show and sale of store lambs and found his champion winners in a pen of 20 from W and WI Bruges, Laigwood, with the reserve honours presented to a similarly sized pen from D Beveridge and Son, Newbigging of Craighall.
