Sovereign Dianna the female and overall champion sold for 1600gns
Judge Alasdair Prickett, backed his decision and bought his choice of champion at North West Auctions' annual show and sale of pedigree Beltex rams and females at J36 Rural Auction Centre.
His champion winner, Sovereign Dianna, a gimmer from Rebecca Braithwaite, Bentham, is by Dean Brow Carlos and went on to sell for 1600gns.
The reserve champion, Benndale Dizzy Rascal, by Benndale Commander, from E Benn, Barnard Castle, realised 650gns.
The Boys are Back in Town sale of terminal sire breeding rams saw a selective trade and a top price of £750 paid twice for Beltex cross shearling rams from Paul Slater, Whiteley Hey.
