Pedigree cattle met a disappointing trade at United Auctions' sale of 83 head at Stirling where prices peaked at 3000gns for a Limousin cow and calf.

Sale leader was the three-year-old Lammerview Michelle, which made up part of the Lammerview dispersal. She is by Homebyres Itton and changed hands with her six-month-old heifer calf, selling to William Robertson and Son, Mid Fodderletter, Ballindalloch.

Another Limousin cow this time from Robert and Jean Graham, Airthrey Kerse, Britdge of Allan, made 2800gns. Greenwell Eliza and her bull calf, Grahams Python was chapped down to Barbreck, Barbreck Estate Office, Lochgilphead.

The ten-year-old cow is a daughter of Vagabond and out of Greenwell Bafia.
