For a second consecutive year, Aberdeenshire flockmaster, Stuart Wood, Woolhillock, Skene, who is better known for his Beltex sheep, topped the Dutch Texels with a shearling ram at £2000, to supercede his 2018 high of £1800.
Backed by imported genetics on both sides, he is by a ram known as 7000, and out of an imported dam from the Hockling flock in the Netherlands.
Mr Wood also produced the lead average selling three Dutch Texels at £1133.33.
