John Green's Greenall Billy Whiz, the equal top priced Texel shearling sold at Kelso at £8500, was purchased by father and son duo, Richard and Chris Thornton, buying for their 100-strong pedigree ewe flock at Cornhills, Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland, and not as previously reported. They will be selling shearling sons at Hexham in 2021.
And, Ray Woolway from College Farm, Cambridgeshire, not Devon, was the buyer of Steven and Louise Buckley's pre-sale champion Suffolk lamb at £4000.
