Hugh and Alan Blackwood, from Auldhouseburn, Muirkirk, led the trade at Lanark's two-day Blackface sale last week with this lamb at £150,000. This was for a son the £160,000 Elmscleugh lamb bought there last year and out of a daughter of an £85,000 Elmscleugh lamb. The Blackwoods retained a third share, with the remaining £100,000 on the debit side for John Murray, Crossflatt, and Paul Coulson, High Staward, Hexham, jointly. Video work by Ian Latimer.
